Western Kentucky picked up their second win of the season with a 72-67 victory over Southeastern Louisiana. Freshman Kevin Kaspar continues to start for the Hilltoppers (2-5). His two 3-point field goals were key in Saturday’s win.
WKU was paced by Teeng Akol’s career-high 17 points and seven rebounds, and George Fant and Derrick Gordon added 15 and 14, respectively. Kevin Kaspar contributed 10 points in a team-high 37 minutes, and Nigel Snipes added seven and eight with three assists and three steals.
