Aquinas will look to sophomore Gregory

Coming off a strong senior campaign at Chippewa Valley in Clinton Township, Michigan, Nick Gregory spent most of his freshman season at Aquinas on the junior varsity squad. Gregory consistently produced double-doubles on the JV level including a 15-point, 15-rebound, 3-assist game in his first college game against Grand Rapids CC last November. One month later, against the same GRCC team, Gregory finished with 17 points, 13 rebounds, and 3 assists. Throughout the past summer Gregory worked to improve his interior scoring, and the coaching staff at Aquinas will look to him as a rising sophomore:

Among the second-year Saints are two inside players who are learning to contribute minutes at the post position. Nick Gregory (#33), at 6-5 and 230 pounds, has the ability to run the floor, beating slower opponents to the offensive end where he has developed a reliable hook shot. “Nick played on the JV team last year, which gave him valuable game time; he’s among our hardest working post players who is focused on improving each year.”
